Dormitory Tarforst - closer to the university dosen´t work!
The Tarforst residence is located directly on Campus I of Universität Trier, at the centre of one of the university's parks.
The buildings, which were built in 1981, 1991 and 2000, house a total of 419 students.
Six units are suitable for disabled students, and have been adapted to the needs of wheelchair users.
Residents can reach the buildings on Campus I in less than 5 minutes by foot.
The natural surroundings, with a wildlife area, plenty of grassy areas and numerous paths, are particularly inviting in summer, allowing students to relax and study outside.
The park was nominated one of the most beautiful landscaped gardens in Germany in 2013.
Alongside the refectory and several cafeterias, numerous snack bars, as well as leisure and cultural facilities, are open all day on and around the lively uni campus.
Various shops can be found in the nearby residential area.
